Eric J. Levesque
Eric J. Levesque, 64, of Rochester, died on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at the Dover Center for Health and Rehabilitation in Dover, New Hampshire.Eric was born in Sanford on January 17, 1950 to Germain and Rita (Jacques) Levesque. He grew up in Springvale where he attended local schools. He was a talented mechanic, owning and operating used car lots in the Sanford area for many years before relocating to Florida where he lived for 12 years. While residing in Florida he owned and operated a used car lot there as well as a gas and service station. In 1997 he married his wife Muriel and together they shared over 17 years of marriage, living in Rochester where they established M and E Auto Sales.When Eric was a young man his family owned a home on the lake and this fostered his life-long love of the water. He loved spending time out on the lake, especially waterskiing and boating. He and his wife also owned a home in Florida which they enjoyed traveling back and forth frequently. Eric had been a member of the Dover Moose lodge as well as the Elks Lodges in Sanford and Rochester.Eric was predeceased by a brother, Normand Levesque and by a stepson, Donald Daney, Jr.Surviving are his wife, Muriel Levesque of Rochester; a son, Mark and his wife Elizabeth and their son Wyatt of Buxton and a daughter, Chrissy of Buxton; two stepsons, Toby Daney of Springvale and Jayson Daney and his wife Nicole of Lyman; several step-grandchildren and two step-great grandchildren; two brothers, Paul Levesque and his wife Linda of Springvale and Richard Levesque and his wife Carol of Sanford; a cousin, Mike Levesque of Springvale and several nieces and nephews.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, November 29th at St. Therse of Lisieux Parish, Notre Dame Church located on Payne Street in Springvale. Interment will be at Notre Dame Cemetery.Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O.
