A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 17th at the Pine Grove South Cemetery located on West Road in Waterboro.

Dr. Ellen Leaf was my dentist for many many years. In my entire life, I’d only been to one dentist office–first as a patient of Dr. Valencia, and then of Dr. Leaf when she took over his practice. She was an excellent practitioner, a compassionate human being, and an intelligent conversationalist. I am saddened to hear of her passing. She will be most sincerely missed.
I just found out today of Ellen’s passing last September as I tried to make an appointment. Dr. Ellen Leaf was also my dentist for many decades there on 25th Avenue in San Mateo. I’m going to miss not only her superb dental skills but also her down to earth, salt of the earth New England Mainer attitude. She was a very intelligent woman well versed on many subjects and one of the things we bonded over was our mutual love of cats. If I remember Dr. Leaf was greatly compassionate to help out the feral cat colonies up at College of San Mateo. Godspeed Dr. Leaf.
