Resided in: Sanford, Maine

Elizabeth (Liz) Ellen Lafortune, 35, passed away on September 27, 2022. Our beloved daughter, mother, sister, granddaughter, niece, aunt, cousin and friend left this earth, but not without touching our hearts first. Liz was the bright light in every room she entered. Her warm smile and sense of humor is what you noticed first about her, but you would soon learn that she was a wonderful listener, ready to lend her support and most of all, she made you feel important. Above everything else, she loved big. If she knew you, she was there for you. She would tell you that her two greatest accomplishments in this world were her sons: Parker and Jasper. Gone much too soon, Liz is survived by her sons Parker and Jasper Lafortune, her mother Debra Medevielle Crowe, her sister Heather Pane (Anthony), brother Aaron Crowe (Heather), sister Tiffany Medevielle Braman, sister and best friend Michelle Medevielle, as well as her grandparents, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Elizabeth Lafortune memorial fund. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Black Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Sanford-Springvale.
