Elissa M. White

Elissa (Lee Dickman) Marlene White left us unexpectedly in her home on Sunday morning, August 6th at the age of 67.Elissa was born on January 1st, 1950 in Plainfield, New Jersey. After moving to Maine in her mid 20's, she enjoyed many impressive careers including several years in antiques, piano restoration, art restoration and jewelry retail. She was a devoted member of the Coffee Gourmet family for many years in the Lafayette Center. Most recently, she was a volunteer at Out of the Box in Kennebunk where her expertise in all of these fields made her an invaluable member of their team.Her husband Billy is the President for the Maine State Chapter of U.S. Military Vets Motorcycle Club, and she enjoyed riding with him.She leaves behind her husband of 27 years, Billy White of West Kennebunk; step daughter Ashleigh White of Lake Placid, New York; grandson Liam Stevens of Lake Placid, New York; sister Donna Johnson and her husband Russ Johnson of Rockaway, New Jersey; brother Walter Dickman of New Jersey; goddaughter Aja O'Neil Bowley of Kennebunkport and many close friends and family throughout York County.A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 14th at Southern Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, located at 83 Stanley Road in Springvale, at 1:00 P.M. All who knew her are welcome and encouraged to attend and celebrate Elissa's life with us.
