Eleanor T. Zelin

Eleanor T. Zelin, 91, of Sanford and formerly of Yonkers, NY, passed away on January 30, 2008 at the Newton Center in Sanford. Born in Yonkers, New York on March 27, 1916, she was a daughter of Martin and Sophie (Bonar) Zielinski. She attended local schools in Yonkers graduating from the Commerce High School in 1933.For 25 years Mrs. Zelin was employed as a bookkeeper with the Cucinall Electric Compnay in Yonkers. In 1988 she moved to Sanford. She was a communicant of St. Ignatius Catholic Church.Survivors include one daughter, Barbara Janz of Sanford as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.A funeral service will be conducted on Friday at 11:00 AM at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street, Sanford.Arrangements are under the direction of the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street in Sanford.
