Eleanor Marie Hill

Portland- Eleanor M. Hill, 83, of Portland, died in Portland, ME on September 30, 2018 following a brief illness. Eleanor was born in Biddeford, ME on December 9, 1934 the daughter of the late William J. and Marie L. (DeSilva) Thompson. She attended local schools and graduated from Biddeford High School. On May 7, 1960 she married Robert C. Hill at St. Mary's Church in Biddeford. Eleanor worked her entire career as a nurse both in the hospital setting and doing private duty nursing. She was predeceased by her husband Robert C. Hill in 2008. She is survived by her sister in law, Carole Gillespie of Westbrook. At Eleanor's request all services will be private.
