Elaine S. Goodwin Wormwood Boston, 71, lovingly known as Nana to her precious grandchildren, passed away on July 27, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Elaine was born in York Harbor Maine, on March 22, 1951. The daughter of Carl J Goodwin and Bertha E. Furbish Goodwin Faulkner. She married her high school sweetheart, Kenneth R. Wormwood, on October 1, 1967. Elaine had a passion for advancing her education receiving many degrees. She was an avid animal lover who treasured her many family pets. She was a person of strong faith and was an active member of North Lebanon Second Baptist Church. She also provided a loving home as a caregiver for several people with disabilities. Undoubtedly, her true passion was her grandchildren. She would often say that the best times of her life were spent taking them on hikes, swimming at camp, making Christmas wreaths, or just snuggling. Elaine is survived by her husband, Kenneth Boston; her children, Lindy Haczela, Lauri Yearick, Wynde Rose and husband Todd Rose; Step daughter Amy Boston Ponchak; Grandchildren Emily O’Boyle, Jeffrey Deforest, Gabrielle Rose, Meghan O’Boyle, Hannah Rose, Jacob Yearick, Ava Rose, Timothy Haczela, and Melaina Haczela; Great granddaughter Rylie Rose; Siblings Eileen Brown, Ellen Robinson, Carla Robinson, Carol Locke, Judson Goodwin, and Andrea Goodwin; and her extended family and many friends. She was predeceased by and now joins her first husband, Kenneth Wormwood, and a son, baby boy Wormwood. The family is extremely grateful to Constellation Health Services and especially Nurse Christine and OT Nicole for their amazing care, compassion, and support. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday August 2nd at 11AM at Hillside Cemetery in North Berwick.   1. Elaine you were the best Nana any grandchild could ever ask for. There was nothing you wouldn’t do for family. Your nieces and nephews remember all the fun times at camp they had with you and Kenny. You reinvented yourself and had a second life with Ken Boston. You fought so hard and never once complained. May you Rest In Peace now. Say hi to Dad and Ma and Aunt Shirley and Uncle Harold and most of all Kenny. We love you and we will miss you and never forget you. Love Billy and Carla

  2. It was a pleasure to care for Elaine and get to know her. She was an amazing lady whom I will miss. The family is in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

  3. Lainey 1st husband Kenny Wormwood was my cousin. I always considered her a cousin. As time went on I feel we shared a very close bond. Loved her more like a sister. A beautiful, caring, and funny soul. I will miss her forever.
