Sending love and light to Mike, Pat, Maureen and Sandra and the rest of your family. I can’t tell you how much I loved spending time with all of you and your parents. I visited them frequently on Pennell Ave when my kids were young – it was so comfortable being there.

Eileen was always a joy to be with, though I didn’t see her as often as I would have liked. She would always say, “Kathi, you haven’t aged a bit!”. That’s what she was about – making people feel good, and welcoming them to her world. My deepest sympathies to all of her family and friends.

Thoughts to all the family. I lived nearby on Hennessy Drive in Portland.I got to know your mom more when I worked at Reiche School and she was also working there. She was a delight and we had nice conversations.

My memories of Eileen are of a wonderful, steadfast friend. We shared many days of our lives as money counters for the church. Along with Mary K. and the others, we enjoyed our weekly get together laughing, catching up on our familiy life and just enjoying life. Every Monday was a new adventure after counting to find a reasraurant or go someplace interesting. Eileen loved animals, especially dogs, And we shared many a dog story. Eileen’s family is a testimony of how Joe and Eileen raised them, with much love, kindness and respect for all. Rest In Peace and love of Jesus my friend.
