Edward Norton

Edward Westfall Norton, 88, of Sanford, passed away on April 29, 2012 in Kennebunk. He was born in Brooklyn, NY, a son of the late Warren and Helen (Westfall) Norton. Edward was a graduate of Dartmouth College. He then served in the Army during WWII.He is survived by two daughters, Dee LaGioia, Lynn Locke and her husband, Michael, five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a brother, Warren S. Norton and three nieces.A memorial service with military honors will be held on Monday July 2nd at 11AM at the Southern Maine Veterans Cemetery in Springvale.Arrangements are under the direction of the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street, Sanford.Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider donations in his memory to the National Audubon Society or to the National Wildlife Foundation.Condolences may be expressed at www.blackfuneralhomes.com
