Edward A. Laroche

Edward was born on October 5, 1935 to Gideon and Endrena (Brouillard) Laroche in Sanford where he grew up and attended local schools. When he was young he worked in the local shoe shops and then as a dock worker for Adam's Mills. He also proudly served for several years in the Army National Guard. In 1975 Edward and his wife moved to Manchester, New Hampshire where he worked for Auclair Trucking. HE went on to work for Granite State Packing and then as a plumbers assistant which he continued to do until his retirement. In 2000 Edward and his wife returned to Sanford to be closer to family.Edward enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing golf and playing pool. HE was a former member of the Knights of Columbus and the Teamsters Union. He was a devout Catholic and had been a communicant of St. Therse of Lisieux Parish in Sanford. He will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather who was devoted to his family and will be dearly missed.Edward was predeceased by his wife, Estelle Laroche and by five siblings, Robert Laroche, Renauld Laroche, Donald Laroche, Louise Gagne and Desneige Robitaille.Surviving are three children, Mark Laroche of Apopka, Florida, Andy Laroche and his wife Holly of Deerfield, New Hampshire and Monique Laroche of Loudon, New Hampshire; four grandchildren, Gabrielle Panchel and her husband Rushi, Christian Laroche, Edouard Laroche and Jordan Laroche and two brothers, Romeo and Leo Laroche.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 14th at St Therse of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church, located on North Avenue in Sanford. Interment will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery in Sanford.Arrangements are under the direction of Black Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Sanford-Springvale.To leave a message of condolence for the family please click on the condolences tab to the left.
