Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. We all had our lives enriched just by knowing and being around Edna. You could not help but smile and almost always laugh when being around Edna!

  2. There were three of us children, Kay was the first child born into the family, Edna was the second one and then myself, Dale, the only male. Edna was and will always be the most Positive person I ever knew!

  3. She loved to go to yard sales, second hand shops, gift shops, go have coffee, ice cream with a friend or friends. She loved to take rides on the country roads, back roads, walks with her friends. She especially loved to read her Bible, books, magazines, etc. She loved sharing books back and forth with her sister, Kay. She loved what she called her “spa” weekend monthly times with Dale, Dennis and our cat. She enjoyed so much the many times she spent with Ralph, Liz, Marc, their friends and the beautiful dogs that Ralph & Liz took care of. For years the once a month weekend trip where Edna and I would go visit our sister Kay. The many many special friends she would go walking with, out for coffee, an ice cream, lunch with. She loved the times of going to her Church on Sunday, her friends from the Trafton Center. I could go on and on and I know I have left out many other things Edna loved to to liked spending time with her dog Punky of years ago, time with her cat of Buster over the last many years. This is just a short list of things Edna loved to do!

  4. I could write a complete book about funny stories about Edna! Just one is when Dennis, Edna and I were in a store years ago and to be funny (cause of her being under 5 feet tall) she put on a pair of very high heel shows, took a few steps and we had to hold on to her to keep her from falling off them! (just one of hundreds of funny fun times with Edna!

  5. Edna was the sweetest lady I have come to know and she was my grandparents neighbor where she would regularly come over and just visit to see how they were doing, she also I’d like to say, that she would absolutely do anything for anyone. She was so loved and her passing was a shock to me to find out she has passed. I will always remember her for her witty humor and gracious love that she showed to everyone she had come in contact with. May you Rest In Peace Edna. I love You.❤️

  6. Edna was one of the sweetest ladies in all the world. Always with a lovely smile and a spark in her eyes. She was a dear friend who frequented the Oldtimers’ Shop for years of happy memories. My love and prayers for happy memories to her family and friends.

  7. The thing that always made me laugh was how unreadable her writing was. When she sent me a birthday card, I would have to wait until I saw her again to have her interpret what she had written. Half the time she couldn’t read it either.

  8. Edna always downplayed her intelligence for humor but anyone who knew her knew better. A smart woman who always wanted to learn new things is how I would describe her.
