Edna M. Brown

Edna M. Brown, 98, of Lebanon, passed away on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at the Newton Center in Sanford. Mrs. Brown was born on February 6, 1912 in Danvers, MA, a daughter of the late Albert and Edna (Day) Oughtibridge.On October 7, 1933 she married Charles C. Brown.For many years she was employed at the former Goodall Mills in Sanford. She also worked at the Portland Navy Yard, Sprague Electric as well as local nursing homes.Her passion in life was her church and traveling. She was a very caring mother and grandmother and will be missed greatly.She is predeceased by her husband, Charles C. Brown who passed away in 1981, a son, Larry C. Brown who passed away in 1989, four sisters, Beatrice Jenkins, Betty Treadwell, Mary Gerrish, Doris Gerdner.She is survived by her children, Jack W. Brown, Jane M. Gerrish, John M.
