Earl A.G. Lederer
On Thursday, December 24, 2019, Earl Arthur Gibson Lederer passed away at his home at the age of 79. He was born on October 18, 1940 in Worcester, MA to Earl O. and Edythe (Severance) Lederer. Supportive to those in crushed in spirit, Earl provided spiritual comfort, love and guidance to those in need. He leaves his wife of 60 years, Jayne S. (Bettis) Lederer. He will be lovingly missed and remembered by his son, Aaron Lederer and his wife, Brooke and their children, Isaac, Grayson and Maddox, his son, Andrew Lederer and his wife, Melissa and their son, Daniel and their daughter, Emily (Lederer) Young and her husband, Zach. He was eagerly looking forward to meeting his first great-grandchild due in February. He was loved by his cousins and extended family. His sister, Beth Lederer, predeceased him. Earl and his wife, Jayne, were assigned to Sanford, Maine as full-time ministers of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1963. He had a strong love for God's Word and unwavering faith. No matter the time or the day, he set a unique example of proactively reaching out and supporting those in need. Through his ministry, he touched and changed the lives of people in his community and across New England. To support his ministry, he worked as a purchasing agent for Province Automation in Sanford until retirement.A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 4 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 32 Shaw's Ridge Road, Sanford, Maine at 2:00pm.Memorial donations may be made to Jehovah's Witnesses at JW.org.
