Earl J. Haskell

Earl J. Haskell, III, 62, of Sanford, died at his home on Friday, December 12, 2014 after a lengthy illness.Earl was born in Providence, Rhode Island on September 24, 1952 to Earl and Violet Haskell, Jr. When he was a young child, his family moved to Westbrook, Maine where he grew up and attended local schools.Earl held several jobs during his life including working as a mechanic, a school bus driver, and then as a truck driver in the paving industry until he was forced to retire several years ago due to declining health. He was a very mechanical person and enjoyed breaking down and rebuilding engines. When he was healthy, he enjoyed going out and socializing with friends and had belonged to the Eagles Club in Waterboro and the Gorham Grange Hall. Earl was a very family-oriented person. He will be remembered as a hard worker and a good father and will be dearly missed.Surviving are his son, Earl J. Haskell, IV, and his son's wife, Jodie, of Robinson, Texas.
