Dorothy V. Iezzi

PORTLAND - Dorothy V. Iezzi, 82, of Brighton Avenue, died Friday, February 15, 2013, at Mercy Hospital. She was born in South Portland on June 2, 1930, a daughter of Melvin G. and Dorothy B. (Shields) Austin. She attended South Portland Schools. She married Sante F. Iezzi Jr. Dorothy devoted her life to her home and family. She enjoyed talking to people, cooking, reading, and knitting. She was especially proud of her recent activities as librarian at the Loring House. She is predeceased by her husband who died November 29, 2001, and a brother, Gene M. Austin. She is survived by a daughter, Cynthia L. Iezzi of Westbrook; two sons, Donald G. Iezzi of Brookline, Massachusetts, and James S. Ceklarz of Moorpark, California; four grandchildren, Lisa C. Jennings, Scott J. Ceklarz, Adam J. Ceklarz, and Madeline N. Holcombe; and two great-grandchildren, Nicole E. Jennings and Alexander J. Jennings. Services will be private.
