From a very young age, Doris had a keen enjoyment for young children, often holding her grandchildren for extended times when they were babies. Pictures of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were a focus in her home. The annual 4th of July holiday and Christmas typically found her surrounded by the entire family.
