Doris J. LeHoux

Doris J. LeHoux, 85, of Sanford, died on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough. She was born on August 10, 1933 to Alphonse and Elizabeth (Malenfant) Houle at home in Sanford, in the house that she lived in all of her life.Doris was employed by Hannaford for 27 years as a cashier and bookkeeper. She was a communicant of St. Therse of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church and was member of the Daughters of Isabella. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, baking, cake decorating, playing cards, and she was on a bowling league. Most of all, she enjoyed her family and spending time with them. She is predeceased by her parents, a grandson, Michael Shaw, sisters, Yvette Tousignant, Gertrude Desjardins, Dolores Everett, and brothers, Roger Houle and Lionel Houle, and infant siblings Mary Jane and Robert Houle.Survivors include her daughters Jeannine Santosuosso and Elaine Shaw and her husband John, grandchildren Gina Santosuosso-Hussey, Ryan Santosuosso and his wife Annie, Kyle Santosuosso, Jamie Shaw and his wife Kim, Tammy Loewe and her husband Scott, Jennifer Wilcox and her husband Jay, Lori Brown and her husband Marc, and twelve great grandchildren, Tristan, Sarah, Brian, Kailey, Evan, Jacy, Connor, Ben, Logan, Gabriella, Kamden, Olivia, a sister, Aline Gilman and her husband Frank, and many nieces and nephews.Visitation will be held on Monday, September 10 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter St., Sanford.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 11, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Therse of Lisieux, Holy Family Church, 66 North Ave, Sanford.
