Doris A. Daigle

Doris A. Daigle, 86, a life long resident of Sanford, passed away on Wednesday February 22,2017 at the Lodges in Springvale. She was born in Sanford on February 11, 1931 a daughter of the late Damase and Laura (Grondin) Allaire.A lifelong communicant of Holy Family Parish, she attended Holy Family School and graduated from St. Ignatius High School in 1949. On July 5, 1954 she married James Daigle. Mrs. Daigle was employed by McLellan's Dept. Store for 25 years and the former Sanford Trust for 12 years. In 1984 she retired from C.M.P.She is predeceased by her husband, James who passed away in 2010, 11 brothers and sisters, son in law, Thomas MacKay.She is survived by her two daughters, Diane MacKay of Sanfordand Donna Cyr of Somersworth, NH, grandchildren, Sarah Beaudoin and her husband, Marc, Alan MacKay, Kylie Cyr, Mary Cyr, great grandchildren, Reese, Thomas and Sydney Beaudoin, one sister, Lorrraine Lavertu Laittres of Sanford.A Mass of Christian of Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 28th at 11AM at St. Therese of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church. Visiting hours will be from 10 to 10:45 that morning at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street, Sanford.
