Dori P. Emigh

Doris P. Emigh, 64, of Brookline, NH, died on Monday, December 31, 2007 at Goodall Hospital in Sanford.Doris was born in Norwich, CT on December 2, 1943 to Benjamin and Sophie Konow Postler and attended local schools. She worked for 33 years at Owens Illinois Plastic in Nashua, NH until retiring two years ago.Mrs. Emigh was very friendly and social person who enjoyed being around people. She liked going to different places on vacation. She also possessed a "green thumb." She spent a lot of time around her home tending to her flowers and plants. Doris will be remembered by her friends and family as a very good person. She was a kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister and will be dearly missed. Doris was predeceased by her parents and a son, Douglas Mailett.Surviving are her husband, Donald Emigh of Brookline, NH; a daughter, Denise Mailett of Bloomfield, CT; two sons, Frank Schultz, of Brattleboro, VT and Larry Cadwell of Brookline, NH; two stepdaughters, Katherine Goldrick of New Port Ritchie, FL and Donna Peroutka of Burnsville, MN; three brothers, Benjamin Postler of Scotland, CT, William Postler of Franklin, CT and Phillip Postler of Hanover, CT; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 12, 2008 at the Norwich 1st Baptist Church, located on Main Street in Norwich, Connecticut. Arrangements are under the direction of Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home in Springvale, ME. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be sent to the charity of one's choice.
