Donovan Patrick Parker, 19, of Sanford, died at his home on June 18, 2018.Donovan was born on May 22, 1999 in Farmington, Maine into the arms of his mother and father, Heidi and Robin and now rests in the arms of our Lord.His early years were spent in Starks with his older sisters, Nicole and Sierra. His family moved to the Farmington area and then to Lebanon/Sanford where he attended local schools. Donovan wrestled, played football and lacrosse, loved music and found solace in hiking the mountain trails. Donovan got a job at Farmfield Greenhouse which he enjoyed. He took pride in his work and received satisfaction in putting in a hard day of labor.Donovan loved working on automobiles which was mostly self-taught. When he was younger he would disassemble and then reassemble his toys. He loved to fish in lakes, rivers or the ocean. He also enjoyed cooking and fireworks and loved his family and friends. Donovan will be remembered as a generous and kind person who was loyal almost to a fault. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.Donovan will be greatly missed by his father, Robin Parker; his mother and step-father, Heidi Dunphy Day and Charlie Day; his sisters Nicole Marie Parker and her partner Kenny Cherpeski and Sierra Parker Scheu and her husband Christian; his brother, Kolbe Joseph Day; his step-sister, Katelyn her husband Ricco and their children, Alana, Sophie and Oliver; his step-brother, Charlie Day III; his great-grandmother, Thelma Dunphy of Embden, Maine; his grandmother, Joan Parker of Plainville, Massachusetts ; his grandparents, Larry and Cindy Dunphy of Embden, Maine; his step-grandparents Rosemary and Charles Day; his aunts and uncles, Tyler Dunphy of Standish, Maine, Christopher Dunphy of Embden, Maine, Ronnie Parker of Foxborough, Massachusetts and Renee and Brian Gillpatrick of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; his cousin, Brendan, Bryan and Nahomie, Isaiah, Leila and Zechariah Dunphy and Connor and Collin Gillpatrick and many other aunts, uncles and cousins.Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, June 22nd at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home located at 580 Main Street in Springvale.Arrangements are under the direction of Black Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Sanford-Springvale.To leave a message of condolence for the family please click on the condolences tab to the left.
