Dolores I. Field

Dolores I. "Dee" Field, 92, of Yarmouth and a summer resident of Square Pond in Shapleigh, died August 10 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough after a brief illness.She was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 15, 1926, the daughter of John and Susan (Leedham) Richardson. She grew up in Michigan and was a 1944 graduate of Mackenzie High School there.On June 17, 1961, Dee married David Barrows Field, who survives her.Dee has served as an elder in the Presbyterian Church (USA.)She was predeceased by her siblings Wilson Mills, Warren, John, Edsel and Charlie.Dee enjoyed sewing, crafts, Bridge, bowling and golf.Besides her husband, survivors include her daughter, Jane Field of Portland, her son, John Field of Vancouver, Canada and two grandchildren, Gabriel Field and Sophia Paddon.A private funeral service will be conducted at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale.
