Delores was related to me, she was my father’s cousin and she was my husband’s aunt, doubly related! If I were to introduce her to anyone, I would say, please meet my Cousin, Aunt Delores.
Over 50 years ago, we lived across the street from her. She and her husband raised delightful, intelligent children who also inherited their loving nature.
When I was offered a job, she offered to take care of Lisa, my daughter who was less than a year old. She witnessed her first steps loving her as if she was her own.
She was so kind and good to all of us, a genuinely sweet, thoughtful and wonderful person.
After she and her husband bought property at a local beach, we had an open invitation to visit. She always welcomed us with open arms. She will always have a special place in our hearts.
Our thoughts and condolences are with you….may the many memories you have help you all to remember the good times.
