A school teacher for many years in the Sanford School System, she touched many lives. 4. Dollie spent a lot of time with her first horse “ Duchess” at the farm. She will certainly be missed by all of us. She was a friend and loved to help where she could.
RIP Dollie you may be gone but not forgotten.

  5. Gone too soon, but never forgotten. I am thankful my kids got to meet you and enjoy many enjoyable moments at the lake with you. Not to mention the hundreds of memories I myself hold of you, Dollie. Truly a one if a kind woman. Forever in our hearts.

I remember after I broke my arm the thoughtful care package you sent to me with a gift to open everyday for 10 days. Such a sweet gesture.

    • Dollie, many years we ‘ve know each other and we’re former fellow colleagues at 3 area schools together in Sanford. You were so kind hearted and loved your friends! Barely no family left in the area but many many friends and I will miss our FB Messenger chats, what was going on in your world, visits where you’d drop off the Downeast magazine at my place. I will miss you and pray you are at peace now, no more doctor visits, surgeries and the race is over! Donna H

  9. I was one of the spectators at the rail as I watched my friends and classmates show their horses with unashamed envy. Who would have guessed that at the age of 56 hearing my name announced for my 1st 2 blue ribbons I’d hear your voice cheering me on across the fairgrounds. Loved watching live stream shows with you and texting you ?’s. It was with tears I’m watching my 1st show without you. Who’ll answer my multitude of questions now my friend?

  10. So much of a light in the Equestrian life of Maine! We admire you for your dedication and commitment to the young girls and boys that had the opportunity to learn from you, grow with you, and love you forever! Your commitment to them is and still will be priceless! Rest in peace!

  11. From the hillside of Chamberlins Farm where MHA shows helped us kids grow and learn. I will always remember the fun we all had. Saddlebreds & Morgan’s with Aggie Kent it was always fun. Ride on and know you were loved

  12. My dear friend, hard to believe I’ve known you for almost 40 years. We’ve had so much fun over the years trail riding and getting lost because we weren’t paying attention. All the sleep overs at my farm and hanging out at the horse shows at the Deerfield fairgrounds. I’m feeling so lost without you…….. I know you are in a better place, free from all the discomfort you were feeling. I hope your able to ride, all the wonderful, beautiful Saddlebred’s you’ve owned. Rest in peace and know that you are loved and missed by so many of your friends.
