David loved sports in his younger years, especially basketball, having played for Camden throughout high school. In his adult life, he was a very enthusiastic guest at family basketball games. He graduated Camden High School and attended Bryant-Stratton College in Boston, majoring in restaurant and hotel management. He assisted in opening numerous seafood restaurants in Mid-Coast Maine and Michigan.
David managed the Rockland Municipal Fish Pier and lobstered throughout his adult life, loving the ocean. In more recent years, he would often go mining and “rock hounding” at his property by Sunday River Mountain.
David was an exceptionally kind, funny, and social man who always had a smile on his face. He would make friends wherever he went, and would always put a smile on others’ faces. He is forever in our hearts, and will be missed by many.
A celebration of life will be celebrated in David’s honor at 4pm on September 14, 2024 at Ada’s Kitchen, 449 Main St. Rockland, in the lower level.
We went to high school together.
Remained friends for many years.
