David A. Foster
David Alan Foster, 50,of Sanford, Maine passed away suddenly in his home on March 15, 2020.Dave enjoyed being outdoors, spending time with his wife hunting and getting together with his family and friends. He could be found many early mornings sitting in his yard watching the birds and his dogs play. He also loved telling stories of his younger days, playing bass and he even wrote poetry. Being a romantic man, he loved to surprise his beloved wife Pam. When she thinks of Dave she remembers his smile, his laugh, his stories, his warm hands, his good nature and the unconditional love he had not just for her but all who came into his life. He adored everyone, even on his grumpy days. Their story began by chatting online for many months before meeting in person on December 28, 2006 they married two years later and from then on spent every second they possibly could together. He truly loved her and she truly loved him. They were soul mates.Dave never had children of his own but took on the stepfather role with pride. He did his best and he loved and adored Amanda and Nick as his own. He often spoke of his sister Stacey and her family with pride . He was proud of his two nieces, Allisyn and Kassidy and his nephew, Isaac. He loved them dearly. He is preceded by his father David Foster and his grandparents.He is survived by his wife Pamela Foster, Stepson Nicholas Melcher, stepdaughter Amanda Morin and her husband Andrew, grandchildren Gunner and River Morin, his is mother Mary Anne Foster, sister Stacey Plante and her husband Dan, his two nieces Allisyn and Kassidy Plante and nephew Isaac Plante, his uncle Russell Snell, his aunt and uncle Becky and Arthur Downing all of Sanford. Maine. Let's not forget his dear friends Jack, Rob, Chris, Steve and so many more.
