Dan Thibaudeau, 61, of Milton NH, passed away peacefully after a courageous and determined battle with cancer on Wednesday, June 6th at his home with his loving wife by his side. He was with his family which is where he most loved to be. He was born in Sanford, Maine on October 25, 1950, the son of Rita (Bernard) and the late BrunoThibaudeau. He grew up in Sanford and graduated from St. Ignatius High School in 1969 and was also a graduate of Andover Technical Institute. Dan was very ambitious and had a great entrepreneurial spirit. He started two businesses with hiswife, Louise. They had started the Launderite in 1981 and the Six-T's in 1993. During his lifetime he owned a successful laundry equipment repair business and several laundromats in the local area. Dan was self employed most of his life and loved the freedom of being his own boss.Beside his family, Dan loved his time spent on his party boat, his tractor and involved in his many projects. Dan is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Louise (St. Laurent) Thibaudeau, his mother and three sons, Jason, Aaron (Jana) and Kevin, all of Rochester, NH, his daughter, Laura and husband Rob Slaving of Old Orchard Beach Maine and by his four "little angels" Allison, Olivia, Jillian Thibaudeau and Melina Slaving. He also leaves behind his brother, Moe (Francie) Thibaudeau of Wells Maine, sisters, Elaine (Bob)Hamel of Sarasota Florida, and Diane (Robert) Grover of Sanford, sisters in law, Maggie Bucklin of Sanford, Claire Guillemette & brother in law, Tom of York Beach and many very special nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his family, his many treasured friends, customers and business associates.Visiting hours for Dan will be held on Sunday, June 10 from 4 to 7 pm at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home at 29 Winter Street, Sanford. A Mass of Christian burial will be on Monday at 11am at St. Therese of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church on North Avenue in Sanford.
