CONSTANCE IRENE RICHARDSON 1930 - 2021 Connie Richardson "Sister," 90, of Morrow, Ohio, formerly of Sanford, Maine, passed away peacefully of COVID on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Pine Ridge Nursing and Rehab in Morrow, Ohio. She was born in her Uncle George's farmhouse in East Lempster, New Hampshire on August 11, 1930, the daughter of Wesley and Ottelia (Tibbetts) Richardson. She grew up in Sanford where she attended local schools, graduating from Sanford High School. During her working life she held several jobs including for many years doing yellow page ads for the phone company, an aquatics instructor, a nail technician, worked the front desk at the Colony Hotel, and was a private secretary at St. Joseph's College. Connie loved to crochet, read and cook. She was an advid animal lover and especially loved her dogs She-She and Ruby. Connie always approached life with a smile and knew no strangers. She was the life of the party! She had been a member of the North Parish Congregational Church in Sanford for many years. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and caring friend and will be dearly missed. Connie was predeceased by her son, Wesley Scott Adams. Surviving are her daughters, Tara Unis of Cape Cod, Massachusetts and Helen Adams Stasulis of Maineville, Ohio; her daughter-in-law Pauline Staples of Shapleigh, Maine and her former spouse, Daniel J. Valliere of Ocala, FL and Rochester, NH; two nieces in Portland, Oregon; one nephew in Merritt Island, Florida; and one niece in Vancouver, Washington; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, July 17th at Oakdale Cemetery located on Twombley Road in Sanford, Maine. Arrangements are under the direction of Black Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Sanford-Springvale.
