Conrad Rodrigue

Conrad Rodrigue died peacefully at his home on July 11, 2010 with Bud and Sandy at his side. He was in the care of Hospice by the Sea of Broward County in Florida. Conrad had been residing at a senior facility, The Horizon Club in Deerfield Beach, FL and was surrounded with friends and staff members who loved him. Conrad was born on September 26,1921 to Logay and Laurette Rodrigue and was married in 1942 to "Dee" who was the love of is life. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He was self-employed for most of his life in the auto repair business. He also enjoyed doing woodworking during his retirement. He was a member of the American Legion and the Sanford Elks Lodge #1470. He was an avid card player and loved his scratch tickets.Conrad was pre-deceased by his wife Dee in 1998, his mother, father and his sister Florence.He is survived by his daughter Sandra Legere, her husband Bud and their three sons, Jim and his two sons Josh and Nick, Bill, his wife Tammy and their two sons Billy and Brad, and R.J. and his son Alex. These boys were a very big part of his life and they will enjoy many "Fred" memories. He also leaves a daughter Gayle Levesque, her husband Tom of Clinton and their two sons Steven of Florida and Marc and his two children Alexis and Logan all of Clinton. There will no visiting hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday August 12, 2010 at 9:30A.M. at the St. Ignatius Church of St. Therse of Lisieux Parish in Sanford.
