Claudia M. LeBlanc, 75, of Sanford, died on Monday, March 13, 2023 at Pinnacle Health and Rehab in Sanford. Claudia was born in Santa Barbara, California on September 1, 1947 to Frederick and Lenabelle Richardson, she has a brother Frederick and several half-siblings. Her family moved several times when she was growing up and she lived in several states including California, Utah, Wyoming and Washington before finally settling down in Maine in the early 1980’s. During her working life she held several jobs doing administrative work including working at Ballenger Auto and then at Walmart in Sanford where she was employed until her retirement and made many forever friends who were like her family. In 1978 she married Ronald LeBlanc and together they shared 44 years of marriage. She was a very outgoing woman who was well liked by everyone who knew her. Claudia was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her children and grandchildren were her world. Whether she could see them in person or talk to them on the phone, they were always in her heart. She will be dearly missed by them all, especially her hugs, her softness and her smiles. Her other hobbies included doing ceramics and painting and was a big fan of dragonflies. Surviving are her husband, Ronald LeBlanc of Sanford; her son, Randal Moreno of Santa Barbara, California and grandchildren Jessica, Jansen, Katie and Hunter and great-grandchildren, Makenzie, Jacob, Kira, Ellana, Grayson, Caleb, Macy, Sophia, Ella and Axle; her daughter Regina and her husband Rick Pouliot of Limmington, ME and grandchildren Christopher and Shayne and great-grandchildren Kayden, Ryder and Addy A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, March 24th at the Southern Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery located on Stanley Road in Springvale. A celebration of life will follow the graveside service at the American Legion located at 665 Main Street in Springvale.

  8. After many years of searching for my father, she was the one who picked up my call at 2am Maine time while I was dead nervious and shaking on the other line half across the world from Bahrain. She’s my 1st family contact in Maine.

  10. My heart goes out to aunt Claudias children and grandchildren, her husband Ron. She will always be in your heart and mind as a beautiful soul.

  11. She was an empath and she could read others. She made friends easily and was loved by all. I loved to hear her pop her gum inside her mouth, it irritated her sister so.

  12. Aunt Claudia was a rock, a Matriarch of the blood line, she watched over all of when we in California. She kept me out of trouble, listened to my thoughts and made me feel secure. She then set out for Maine and raised 2 rightous children and was an adoring grandmother. She will be visiting all of us as Gina has said she loved Dragonflies. I know we all will think of her everytime we see one. May she fly around and lightly land on awhat peeks her interest, like an Angel she now has wings be free aunt Claudia. Love and rembrance to her family
