Christopher Nappi 1974-2022 GORHAM--Christopher M. Nappi, 48, of Gorham, passed away unexpectedly on May 4, 2022. Christopher was born on January 8, 1974, to Shirley Harris and John Nappi in Portland, Maine. Christopher attended Portland Schools. He is survived by his son, Anthony Nappi and wife, Megan and their two daughters, Adeline and Adora. His daughter, Mercedes Sacco and fiance Anthony Davidson and their son Miles. His son, Jesiah Bickford and daughter, Lucy Nappi, along with their mom, Alana Bickford and bonus child Josiah Allen. He loved his dogs, Jetta, Delilah, and Dubbs like his children. He is additionally survived by his siblings Sylvia Nappi, Leslie Davignon and husband, Arthur Davignon and their daughter, Autumn. Karen Blanchard-McIntosh and husband, Bill McIntosh and their son Damian, Heather Angell and her two sons Darien and Matthew, Richard Martel and wife, Melissa Martel and their daughter, Ruby, Vincent Nappi and fiance, Leanna Manuel, and Alexandra Nappi. He is also survived by partner KristiLee Prior. Christopher was loved and will be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends he called family. He worked as a laborer for most of life, more recently in the tree service industry. He was an avid atv rider, or anything else that had a motor. He enjoyed doing small engine repair, and creating art using materials like metal, wood, and paper. He expressed himself with his body art. His taste in music was extensive ranging from classical to hard rock. But above all else he loved riding his motorcycle. But even more than that, helping people was his passion. He would be found teaching neighborhood children how to ride a bike or just provide an ear to listen. While Chris was prideful he would put that aside to provide forgiveness and compassion. Once respect was earned with him, he no doubt would have your back indefinitely. Chris was a giver in life as he is in death. He was an organ donor and donated his heart, liver, and both kidneys which saved four peoples' lives. He was preceded in death by his father John A. Nappi, Sr and many friends along the way. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 21, from 10-12, at the Conroy-Tully Walker Funeral Home, South Portland Chapel, 1024 Broadway, South Portland. A celebration of life will be held at Iron Tails Saloon, 559 Rt. 109, Acton following the service.

  1. Chris was a very nice man. I enjoyed being around him he could make me laugh no matter if I was happy or sad he always made me laugh and smile. I couldn’t ask for a better friend to have beside me if I ever needed anything he would help if he could help. RIP my friend. Spread your wings and fly high my friend.

  3. My condolences to Chris’s family and friends, especially his children and grandchildren. I met Chris when I was 19 and he was always very kind to me, even when I wasn’t always kind back. Him and Alayna took me in when I had no place to go and it’s something I’ve always remembered. He was a good guy that everyone respected. I’m sure he’ll be greatly missed.

  5. Me and a friend of mine when I was 16 “borrowed” a truck from Vermont to make it back to maine. Being on the run I called my brother and asked him what to do, he told me to meet him behind a house on grant st. In portland… on the way out of the parking lot my friend ended up wedging the confrere building between the cab and the bed of the truck and I mean WEDGED, it wasn’t going anywhere… Chris as calm as calm could be just said “when I say punch it” be then proceeded to squat down, grab the side of the truck and lift this Ford F-250 off the corner of the building and with not an ounce of strain in his voice sais “punch it”. That’s just one story of many but only one of the few I can post online… he was an amazing brother and my favorite person for most my life… I only hope I can become half the friend, brother, and man he was. But even that’s a tall order.
