I met Christopher in 5th grade, we both had Mr Berkerwitz as our teacher. First day we met, he was sitting at a table, reading a gaming magazine. I asked him what he was reading and he told me he was playing Shining Force 2. I went to the video store and rented Shining Force 2. I quickly deleted the games and started my own game. Man what a blast I had. Went back to school and told Christopher I rented the game and his face went from smiling to what!? I accidently deleted his game! So he rents the game and deletes mine and we became best friends after that.
Dear Mr. Bollard,
My deepest condolences to you. My heart goes out to you reading how much you miss Christopher, how much history you had together… I’m so sorry for your grief.
I grieve for him as well. That’s how I found your words tonight. It made me smile to read about him and perhaps healing to hear your love for him, too. You’re right! He is a beautiful soul. I’m so grateful for him. Thank you so much for sharing. May your reunion with him be joyous!
Christopher and I grew up in Limerick together, we rode bikes, wrestled with friends, we were very active outside. When I was twelve I got a horrible phone call when I was at Chris’s house that my dad died. Chris was there for me and I really appreciated that. Few years went by we lost contact but we eventually reconnected and became very close again. Chris was one of the best human beings I’ve ever come across. Chris loved video games and cartoons, very much into anime which he introduced me to. Chris you will always be a huge piece of my soul, thank you for all the wonderful memories. God Bless your beautiful soul, until we see each other again.
I miss you so much brother
A year has passed not a day goes by that I don’t miss you Christopher. Your smile, your laugh, the way you treated others. Just incredible human being. Had a one of a kind sense of humor. We made memories together and those will forever be in my heart. Thank you Christopher C for all that you did and continue to do. I love you brother 💙
