Christopher Coombs

Christopher Allen Coombs, 49, of Sanford passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 17at his residence in Sanford. He was born on October 20, 1972, to Diana Coombs and John Hanlon in Portland where he grew up and attended local schools, graduating from Deering High School and earning his bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Southern Maine. Christopher was a very talented tattoo artist and won awards for his work. He loved motorcycles, especially Harley Davidson, fixing cars, and working on computers. The absolute highlight of his life was his grandson, Christopher. Chris was a loving, caring, and loyal son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend and will be dearly missed. He is predeceased by grandparents, Anne and Lawrence Coombs, grandparents Mr. and Mrs. John Hanlon Sr.,his father John Hanlon Jr., stepfather Michael Frisco, and brother-in-law John Freeman. Survivors include his mother, Diana Frisco, his daughter Alissa Hanlon of Ellsworth, son Christopher Coombs and his girlfriend Jewel of Sanford, brother Matthew Coombs of Ellsworth, sisters Annie Freeman and Jenna Frisco of Sanford, brother Harry Hanlon of Sanford, grandchildren Emmett, Noelani, Cullen, Amaya, Christopher, Jewel and Clark and nephews and niece Michael (Mickey)James, Kate-Lynn, Jonathan Jr., and Egan.
