Charles B. (Chuck) Zulker, 92, wants all of his friends and relatives to know that he moved to his heavenly home on June 13.Born in Pleasantville, NJ, December 20, 1926, he was a longtime resident of Washington Crossing, PA. Listed in Who's Who In America, he was the founding manager of radio station WCHR in Trenton, which he managed for the next 45 years. He was an Army veteran of World War Two, serving as a Sgt. in Germany with the occupation forces. He is listed on the Honor Roll in the American National World War II Museum in New Orleans, LA. An accomplished vocalist, he was the soloist and song leader in residence at Montrose Bible Conference in Montrose, PA from 1960 to 1964, as well as soloist and announcer at radio station WPEL in Montrose.Prior to entering the field of broadcasting, he was employed as an administrative assistant in the physics department at Princeton University from 1950 to 1960.He was a trustee and deacon at Westerly Road Church in Princeton, NJ and served on the Board of Counsel at Word of Life International in Schroon Lake, NY from 1973 to 1983.He was a sports enthusiast, lettering in baseball and basketball while at Hamilton H.S. near Trenton, NJ, and playing on a championship softball team while in Frankfurt, Germany.Son of the late William J. and Virginia Carr Zulker, he was predeceased by his loving wife of 68 years, Virginia Lou Wright Zulker. Chuck is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Connie Lee and Rev. Dr. Jonathan H. Bosse of Shapleigh, ME, a son and daughter-in-law, Rev. Timothy S. C. and Cynthia K. Zulker of Barrington, RI, a twin brother, Rev. Dr. William Allen Zulker of Richland, PA, and grandchildren, Nathaniel and Amanda Bosse, Andrew Zulker, Emily and her husband Todd Rains of Minn., MN; Julia, and Natalie Zulker.A public memorial service will be held 12:30 pm Wed., Jun 19 at Shapleigh First Baptist Church. Chuck has requested the following be inscribed on his grave marker: Phil. 1:21. Private burial to be in the Southern Maine Veterans Cemetery in Springvale, ME.In lieu of flowers, memorial tax deductible gifts may be made to The Philip Center for Outreach and Ministry, Inc., P.
