Charles Benjamin Dellea, 34, of Sanford, died in West Forks, Maine on September 20, 2014.Charles, affectionately known as "Charlie-Ben" by his parents, was born in Farmington, Maine on May 6, 1980, the son of Charles and Rachel Dellea. He grew up in Eliot where he attended local schools. He had been employed as a chauffeur and supervisor for the past 7 years at Atlantic Limousine in Westbrook.Charles had a very engaging personality and always tried to entertain those around him. He loved life and was able to find something positive in any situation. He liked going four-wheeling, white water rafting, cutting wood with his father-in-law, having campfires, lighting fireworks and eating chocolate pie. He had been an active member of the Ossipee Mountain ATV Club and enjoyed DJing at parties and various events. He also assisted the Sanford Police Department with the Secret Santa Society donating Christmas gifts to families in need. Charles loved Halloween. Every year he took pride in setting up his decorations and would dress up to pass out candy to all of the children. Spending time with family was always a highlight for him, especially Sunday get-togethers. He will be remembered as a loving and devoted fiance, father, son, grandson, brother and uncle and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.Charles was predeceased by a son, Evan Benjamin Dellea.Surviving are his fiancee, Jennifer Butler of Sanford; four children, Katherine Dellea, Christopher Dellea and Kellsey Dellea, all of Springvale and Abigail Dellea of Sanford; two step children, Felicia Libby of Sanford and AJ Butler of Sanford; his parents, Charles and Rachel Dellea of Kittery; his paternal grandmother, Ellen Dellea of Haverhill, Massachusetts; two brothers, Richard Dellea and his wife Julie of Haverhill, Massachusetts and Joseph Dellea of Salem, Massachusetts; a sister, Elizabeth Brown of Lewiston; niece and nephews Spencer, Meaghan and Cooper Dellea of Haverhill, Massachusetts and several other nieces and nephews; his father and Mother-in-law, Ruth and Robert Runnels of Acton and two brothers-in-law, Alan Randall of Farmington, New Hampshire and Randy Runnels of Lewiston/Auburn.A memorial gathering will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, September 28th at the family home, 7 Tebbetts Avenue in Sanford.Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider sending a contribution to Charles F.
