Cecile Alexandre, 60, of Sanford, passed away February 14 at home.She was born on April 21, 1945 in Sanford a daughter of Raoul and Lorraine (Proulx) Juneau, and attended Sanford schools.After graduation, she worked for her father at Juneau's Market for 14 years. She was then employed for 17 years with Shaw's Supermarket.She was a communicant of St. Ignatius Church where she served as a Eucharistic minister, distributing communion to shut-ins.She was a gifted poetess who wrote inspirational poems for people she loved. Cecile taught a Hydrokinetics class at the YMCA for 10 years. She received numerous awards through her many years of volunteer service. She enjoyed dancing, beaching, dining out, baking and especially her home.Survivors include her beloved husband of over 40 years, Ronald Alexandre of Sanford, a daughter, Stella Perreault and her husband Daniel of Springvale, a son, Michael Alexandre and his wife Laura of Sanford, her twin sister, Rachel Sparkowich of Kittery, a brother, Gerard Juneau of Wells, and 8 grandchildren.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11 AM in St. Ignatius Church. Burial will be in the spring in St. Ignatius Cemetery. Arrangements are through the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street, Sanford.In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Operation Blessing (a ministry that helps the poor,) P.
