Carroll J. Leen

SCARBOROUGH Mr. Carroll J. Cackie Leen , 89, died Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House. Born in Bangor on February 19, 1927, Carroll was the son of the late Frederick and Hazel (Perry) Leen. He attended Portland Schools and furthered his education at University of Maine and Purdue University. During his lifetime he worked for several years as a General Agent for Berkshire Life Insurance Co. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was a member and past president of the Elks Club. Carroll is predeceased by his wife, Germain Leen. He is survived by his children: Sue Ellen Crawford and husband Bradford of Falmouth, William Leen and wife Judi of Westbrook, Peter Leen and wife Tami of Lisbon, Andrea Leen of Louisiana, Tracy Billiot and husband Stanley of Louisiana, Sydney Bauersfeld and husband Kristopher of Naples; step-daughter, Tami Gosselin and husband Pete of Lewiston; grandchildren, Joshua, Matthew, Theresa, Ashley, Evan, Emily and Philip. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren. Private burial will be held at Calvary Cemetery, Broadway, South Portland.
