Carol Arlene Camire

Portsmouth, NH Carol Arlene Camire, 62, of Lyman, ME, died on February 9, 2017, at Portsmouth Regional Hospital following a brief illness. She was born on June 16, 1954 in Biddeford, ME, the daughter of Roger and Bessie (Buzulchuck) Moreau. She grew up in Lyman and attended local schools. She graduated from Massabesic High School, Class of 1973. Carol held many jobs over the years, and she easily made friends everywhere she went. Carol always had a kind heart, and when she started working as a Direct Support Professional, it was a perfect fit. In her free time she enjoyed reading, spending time with those that she loved, and the beach. Carol always saw the best in everyone and every situation, a true optimist. Carol was passionate about animals and loved spoiling the pets of friends and family, especially her own beloved pugs. Carol was predeceased by her father, Roger Moreau. She is survived by her mother, Bessie Moreau of Lyman; a daughter, Valerie Baron and her husband Matt of Sanford; a son, Brian Camire and his wife Laurie of Poland; two brothers, Roger Moreau and his wife Linda of Lyman, Donald Moreau of Scarborough; five grandchildren: Riley, Esmee, Emma, Graceyn and Lucien; and her two beloved pugs, Diva and Deli. Carol also held a very special bond with a young man named Gabe, who she considered a second son, and his very special family. A Memorial service will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, February 15, 2017, at the Conroy-Tully Walker South Portland Chapel, 1024 Broadway, South Portland.
