PORTLAND - Camilla Cavallaro Jensen, 87, of Portland, died October 25, 2011 at Mercy Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was born September 30, 1924 in Portland, a daughter of Samuel and Josephine Fasulo Cavallaro. Camilla attended local schools. On April 30, 1949 she married Richard F. Jensen Sr. at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Portland. Together they made their home and raised their family in Portland. The loves of her life were her children and grandchildren, whom she always enjoyed hearing of their achievements and successes. Camilla had a kind heart and meant the world to her family. She was loved very much and will be deeply missed by all of them. Camilla was an excellent cook who was known for her famous meatballs. Each holiday her family would look forward to this special treat. Every Wednesday she would meet her sisters at Tony's Donuts, a weekly event which she always looked forward to. She also enjoyed playing beano, shopping and scratching lottery tickets. She was a longtime communicant of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Portland. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband Richard, Sr. in 2000; two daughters, Pamela Alley and Elizabeth Litrocapes; a son, Richard F. Jensen, Jr. and a sister Antoinette Dipaolo. Surviving are: a daughter, Joan M. Jensen of Portland,; two sons, John S. "Jack" and his wife Debra of Falmouth, Paul J. Jensen of Portland; four sisters, Annie Cavallaro of Portland, Lucy Fournier of Portland, Judy Rys of CT., Mary Lou Guerra of New Hampshire; a brother Frank Cavallaro of FL; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild; and many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, October 27th at Conroy-Tully Crawford Funeral Home, 172 State Street, Portland. Prayers will be recited at 10:15 a.m. on Friday, October 28th at the funeral home, followed by an 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph's Church, 672 Stevens Avenue, Portland.
