SOUTH PORTLAND--Beverly A. Robinson, 85, of South Portland, died Wednesday January 26, 2022 in Portland.
She was born in Bath, Maine August 3, 1936 the daughter of Gerald E. and Blanche (Lovell) Robinson. Beverly attended King Middle School and graduated from Portland High School. She worked as a Long-Distance Operator for New England Telephone and later AT&T. She took time off to raise her family but returned to AT&T and eventually retired from there.
Beverly was a very talented crafter, doing knitting, crochet and embroidery and teaching classes at both Michaels and A.C. Moore. She was a member of the embroiderers Guild for over 20 years. She enjoyed roller skating and loved animals, especially her cats.
Beverly is survived by her daughters, Debra Jensen and her husband Robert Tolliver Jr. of Buxton and Lisa A. Kelley and her husband Elton Wandersleben of South Portland; her sister, Barbara J. Parent and her husband Robert of Scarborough; her grandchildren, Lauren Jensen and James Theriault of Limington, Jennifer and Eric Deane, Michael P. McCann and Kelli R. McCann; her great-grandchildren, Cameron, Maya and Chase Deane her cats, Tigger and Abby and her Grand dog, Gizmo.
A graveside service will be held in the spring at Evergreen Cemetery.
