Beverly A. Doiron, 78, of Sanford passed away on Wednesday, November 25, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough.She was born on March 15, 1942 the only child of the late Jules and Louise (Bourque) Landry in Sanford where she was a lifelong resident, attending local schools including Notre Dame School in Springvale.Beverly spent most of her young life as a single mother and devoted her time to raising and caring for her children. She provided for them by working as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Goodall Hospital on the night shift for 18 years.In 1995 she was married her childhood sweetheart Roger Doiron and together they shared many happy years. They made wonderful memories together. For example, they traveled from Maine to California in their motor home and took a wonderful cruise to Bermuda.Beverly loved Christmas and decorating for the holidays. She also loved crafting and collecting Coca Cola memorabilia. She also cherished her little dog Rufus.She could always find a reason to dance. Most Saturday nights she and Roger spent out dancing. This included dancing to her son Rick's music when he played bass guitar in his band. And if there wasn't a band, she would dance around the house.Beverly also had an eye for pretty things. She enjoyed going shopping with her daughter Tammy where she could admire flowers, jewelry, decorations, or anything sparkly and shiny.She is precdeceased by her stepson Steven Doiron.Survivors include her husband of 25 years, Roger Doiron, of Sanford, her daughter Tammy Ramsdell of Sanford, her son Richard Ramsdell Jr. and his wife Diane, of Shapleigh, her step son John Doiron of MA and her grandchildren Matthew Doiron , Rachel Doiron, Stephanie Doiron and Jessica Jones.A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 3 at 11:00 A.M. at the Southern Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Springvale.
