Beverly A. Corson

Beverly A. Corson, 76, of Sanford, ME, passed away on August 4, 2015, at the Southern Maine Health Care, Goodall Hospital. Her life also began there on November 12, 1938, born to the late Isaac and Arlene (Perkins) Boyd.She graduated from Wells High School in 1957. She was employed as a Health Information Specialist and worked in many medical facilities throughout Southern ME and NH, and a member of the A.M.R.A.She was an amazing crafter who quilted, knitted, crocheted, and shared her talent with others as a teacher. She enjoyed making projects for family and friends and was passionate about making blankets for sick and/or traumatized children. She was also passionate about serving the Lord - as a member of Grace Baptist Church, serving on various church committees, and leading Bible study at an assisted living facility.She is predeceased by her husband Kenneth, sister, Barbara Shaloup, and brother, Robert Boyd, Sr.She is survived by her daughter, Angelyn Krout, grandchildren Paige Brann and Charles Krout III, nephews, Robert Boyd, Sr., and Dean Shaloup, niece, Karen Dapkins; as well as her extended family, church family, and many friends. A service will be held on Tuesday, August 11, at 2 p.m. at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main St., Springvale. Burial will follow at Oakdale Cemetery.
