Bernice May Robichaud Sept 26, 1928 - April 26, 2023 Bernice Robichaud, age 94, beloved wife of the late Edmond Louis Robichaud (the love of her life), passed into eternal rest Wednesday, April 26, 2023, in Sanford, Maine. Bernice was born on September 26, 1928, in New Bedford, MA, daughter of the late Reginald Worby and Alice (Lanigan) Worby. Bernice grew up in Bridgeport, CT moving to Stratford in 1963 and then to Milford to raise her children. In 1989 Bernice and her husband retired to live on Cape Cod. That was their happy place. Bernice, better know as “Peachy” (Dad called her Peaches) was an excellent cook, and enjoyed dancing, gardening, walking, knitting and was an avid reader. Most of all, she adored her family. She was a devoted and beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be sadly missed by her family and all who had the privilege to know her. Survivors include two sons, Edmond Louis jr (Elaine) Robichaud of Santa Rosa, NM, Michael(Dawn Vitale) Robichaud of Cumming, GA and two daughters Susan Venditti of Fort Mill, SC , Terri McClelland of Ogunquit, ME; eleven grandchildren, Jason, Trevor, Jessica, Keith, Vanessa, Nicole, Sarah, Kara, Michael, Nicholas, Alex; twelve great grandchildren, Alex, Angelina, Bella, Carissa, Damaris, Dominic , Sofia, Layla May, Veronika, Rosemary, Lilliana, Violet; and several nieces and nephews. At Bernice’s request, a private memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Black Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Sanford-Springvale.
