Wells-Barbara C. Leech, 81, of Wells, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2020, surrounded by family, after a courageous battle with cancer. Daughter of W. Francis Coyne & Ruth Dalton, Barbara was born and grew up in West Kennebunk and attended Kennebunk schools before moving to Wells to raise her family with her late husband, Robert Leech. Barbara is survived by her son James Leech and his partner Vanessa; daughter Deborah Leech and her partner Ray; daughter Rebecca Stone and her husband Stephen; brother Robert Coyne; sister Brenda Smith and her partner Les; sister Betty Nise; brother Bruce Coyne; granddaughter Cindy Harnden; granddaughter Jessica Howe and her partner April; granddaughter Kendra Leech; granddaughter Bethany Wilson and her husband David; grandson Stephen Stone; great grandson Austin; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her second husband John Searles; brother Stanley Dalton; brother John Dalton; brother Benjamin Coyne; and sister Beverly Littlefield. Arrangements are in the care of Conroy-Tully Walker Funeral Home, 172 State Street, Portland, ME. At Barbara's request, there will be no funeral services.
