Barbara A. Gooding

Barbara A. Gooding, 80, of Sanford, passed away on Tuesday May 22, 2018 at the Maine Medical Center in Portland. She was born in Earls Colne, Essex, England on April 13, 1938 a daughter of the late Walter and Caroline (Theobald) Green.For many years she was employed with the Sears mail order store in Sanford. Most recently she had been employed at Walmart in the jewelry department.She enjoyed her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Fred Gooding Jr., of Sanford, children, Debra hersom and her husband, Mike of Springvale, Larry Gooding and his wife, Heidi of Springvale, four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, two sisters, Janet and Jillian.Visiting hours will be on Tuesday, May 29th from 6 to 8PM at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter, Sanford. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 12noon at the funeral home.
