Arline J. Tuttle

Arline J. Tuttle, 83, of Sanford, passed away on May 29, 2017, at Gosnell Hospice House in Scarborough. She was born in Sanford on March 12, 1934, the daughter of Roland and Helen (Dicey) Reid. On October 27, 1951 she was married to John A. Tuttle Sr. and together they had two sons.For many years, Arline was employed by the Sanford Mills. She enjoyed crocheting, baking and had many beloved dogs.She is predeceased by her husband, who passed away in 2009, a son Roland (Butch) Tuttle who passed away in 1971, and her parents.Survivors include a son John A. Tuttle Jr. and partner Brenda Hawker of Lebanon, a sister, Virginia DeButts of Barrington, NH, a granddaughter, Tonyia Karwanski, great grandchildren, Abbilla and Thomas, great great grandchild, Clairina, many nieces and nephews, especially Debra and Ernest and many in-laws.A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 9, 2017, at 11:00 A.M. at Oakdale Cemetery in Sanford.Arrangements are under the direction of Black Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Sanford-Springvale.
