Arline Eldredge
Arline I. Eldredge, 97, of Sanford, died in Kennebunk on Friday, January 4, 2013.Arline was born in Sanford on April 6, 1915 to Grover and Mabel (Cram) Hall where she grew up and attended local schools, graduating from Sanford High School. When she was young she was employed in the Sanford mills and the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard until she was married at which time she left work to start her family.Arline enjoyed playing bingo and vegetable gardening. When she was younger she also enjoyed going dancing with her husband on a regular basis. Arline was known as a wonderful cook by her friends and family. She enjoyed having company and nobody who visited her left without having something to eat. She was also a very witty woman with an excellent sense of humor. Arline was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and devoted her life to caring for her family.
