Arlene G. Wilmot

Arlene Gertrude Wilmot, 89, of Lebanon, died on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Southern Maine Health Care in Biddeford.Arlene was born on November 8, 1928 to Ernest and Ella (Kimball) Adams in Plymouth, New Hampshire where she grew up and attended local schools. In 1950 she married Roscoe Wilmot and together they raised 10 children and shared 65 years of marriage until his death in 2015. She was employed for many years at the Mountain View Infirmary in Sanford where she helped care for the residents.Arlene enjoyed taking many trips, traveling around the country with her husband. She was a very family oriented woman and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who's door was always open to her family and friends. She will be dearly missed.Arlene was predeceased by her husband, Roscoe Wilmot, Sr., five children, Roscoe, Jr., Gary, Shirley Bolduc, David and Linda and several siblings.Surviving are five children, Gloria Cote of Sanford, Gordon Wilmot and his wife Carol of Monroe, New York, Beverly Philbrick of Plymouth, Maine, Rosalie Goodwin of Lebanon and Sheila Brie and her husband Paul of Groton, Connecticut; 23 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.A memorial gathering will be held at a date to be announced.Arrangements are under the direction of Black Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Sanford-Springvale.To leave a message of condolence for the family please click on the condolences tab to the left.
