Antoinette C. Morrill

Mrs. Antoinette C. Morrill, 89, of Presnell Street, Portland, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at her home. Born on August 11, 1925 to the late Nazzare and Mary (Iezzi) Mancini, Antoinette was raised on Munjoy Hill, and graduated from Portland High School. She married Woodbury F. Morrill in 1951 and together they shared nearly 34 years of marriage. He predeceased her on January 14, 1985. As a Military Wife, Antoinette and her husband lived in Japan for several years where they raised their son, Michael. Before returning to Portland, Antoinette taught English Conversation at a Japanese Senior High School and also ran a child care center on the Military base. In addition to her parents and husband, Antoinette is predeceased by her siblings, Theresa LaCroix, John Mancini, Nunzi Mancini and Joseph Mancini. She is survived by her son, Michael Morrill and wife Heidi of Bowdoin; sister, Anna Tuttle of Portland; grandchildren, Kelly, Ashley, James and Ryan. Prayers will be recited at 10:15AM on Tuesday at the Conroy-Tully Crawford South Portland Chapel, 1024 Broadway, South Portland. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11AM at Holy Cross Church, 124 Cottage Road, South Portland. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Broadway, South Portland.
