PORTLAND - Annie Helen Savage, 95, of Portland, died peacefully October 4, 2011 at The Cedars with her loving Family by her side. She was born November 9, 1915 in South Portland, a daughter of John and Frances Lenotovich Savage. She was educated in local schools and was a 1935 graduate of Portland High School. Annie was a communicant of St. Louis Church. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella. During her career, she worked for Cushman Bakery and retired from the Jayson Company. Annie was predeceased by her parents; sisters, Julia Cote and Mary Olsen both of Portland, and her brother John Joseph Savage. Surviving are: her nephew, Ralph Olsen and his wife Sue of Westbrook, Grand Niece Michelle Jensen of Fern Park, FL and Grand Nephew Randy Olsen of Westbrook. The family of Annie would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of The Cedars for their compassionate and wonderful care given to Annie. Visiting hours will be held from 4-7p.m. Thursday at Conroy-Tully Crawford Funeral Home, 172 State Street, Portland. Prayers will be recited at 9:15 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Louis Church, 279 Danforth Street, Portland.
