Anna M. Podell

Anna M. Podell, 95, a longtime resident of Lebanon, died June 4 in an Oxford, Mass. nursing home after a brief illness.She was born in Brockton, Mass. on March 14, 1913, a daughter of Joseph and Lizzie (Kazukioniute) Milanskas, and attended Southborough, Mass. schools.A homemaker all of her life, she and her husband Joseph C. Podell moved to Lebanon from Lynn, Mass. after World War II. He died in 2003. She was also predeceased by a son, Robert Podell.Survivors include her son Arthur J. Podell and his wife Jean of Oxford, Mass., 2 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.Relatives and friends are invited to call on Monday from 10 AM to 12 noon at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street, Sanford, where a funeral service will be conducted at 12 noon.
